The taxi pulled up outside a rather tall and grand looking hotel. Barbara stepped out to stare upwards. There were tall buildings in London but there was something about being in a different city which made the buildings unique and fascinating. Despite how tired she felt after such a long flight, she could almost go for a walk to see some more but there would be time for that later.

A finely dressed man dashed toward the from where he had been standing next tot he doors. "Shall I take your luggage?" he asked Ian and Barbara once the cabbie, or taxi driver, had hauled it out of the boot.

"Yes, thank you," Barbara replied. She reached out. For Ian's hand and offered him a smile before they walked into the hotel lobby together.

Once they had signed in at what appeared to be a marble desk, taken the lift up to near the very top, and stepped into their room, Barbara turned to thank the man for bringing their luggage. She gave him a small tip, since she didn't have a lot of money on her, and shut the door behind him.

"Would you look at this!" she said to Ian, gesturing to the entire room. "You must be valuable to have the board so generously pay for you to stay here!"

Barbara trotted over to the window to look out, passing a bottle of champagne and a note which wished them both a happy first anniversary.

Barbara raised an eyebrow. "Lower."

That had been his intention if only she'd let him... "Are you going to let me go lower?"

"Of course." Sometimes it was enjoyable to frustrate Ian a little.

She took her hands away from the covers to stroke either side of his head. If she hadn't been encouraging him to kiss her in particular places, she'd have pulled him in for another kiss to her lips.

He pushed the covers down to her waist and just looked at her for a moment. Before she could complain that he was taking too long he carried on kissing her from where he left off. But he did take a detour around the top of her breast to kiss between them.

Her fingers messed with his hair as he kissed her skin, and a gentle flush began to cover her chest and neck as her body temperature started to rise.

"Lower," Barbara said breathily after he'd concentrated on her breasts for some time, then added: "please."

"Your wish is my command." He grinned at her briefly, but he was enjoying this as much as she was. Although he kissed down her stomach, once he moved the covers out of the way he didn't linger and kissed her where she wanted to be kissed.

Barbara gasped as his kiss landed on such a sensitive area, that was only growing in its sensitivity. She moaned softly, happyoly, before she managed to say: "your kisses are wonderful."

He paused to smile up at her. "So it was worth taking your nightie off after all." He reached up to idly brush a hand against one breast.

"It always is," she replied and placed a hand over his at her breast with a sigh.

He made pleasant tingles breeze through her, starting at the contact his lips and drifting up her spine. She swooned a little and told him in a far away voice: "I'd never wear a nightie for you if I could."

He mumbled a reply to that, but he couldn't kiss her and have a conversation and he had no intention of stopping yet. Not when he could tell she was enjoying it.

The mumbling sent delicious vibrations into Barbara's core and she moaned at him. Her hand clamped down on his as the pleasure burst through her, pushing her closer to climax.

He carried on until she did climax and then he kissed up her body, finishing at her lips, and then lay beside her, propped up on one elbow again. "I'd be quite happy if you never wore a nightie," he said, repeating his earlier, mumbled answer. "But you might get cold."

"I'd have you to warm me up," she said, panting a little, and rolled to snuggle up to his chest. A few little, light kisses were placed along his neck. "And I'm quite warm now."

He smiled at her. "I'll always warm you up whenever you're cold. And when you're not," he added with a grin. He put an arm round her and traced patterns on her back.

"And for that I'm very glad," she replied, smiling up at him.

While the patterns on her back felt rather wonderful, a small part of Barbara suggested that she return the favour. She asked: "I don't suppose that you're feeling a little chilly?" and played with the collar of his pyjama shirt.

"Well, I am, now that you mention it." He pressed their hips together, so she could feel just how much he needed warming up.

"Ian, you're freezing!" she said, making a big fuss. Barbara pushed Ian onto his back and swung a leg over him so that it was easier to enoucrage him to sit up and let her take his shirt off.

She kissed and gently bit his chest until she made her way down to his trousers, which she removed. Hovering over his pants and the bulge beneath it, which she gently rubbed through the material, she commented: "you should have said you were so cold, we could have warmed up together."

He moaned at her touch and lifted his hips a little, trying to encourage her to rub less gently. "I was distracted kissing you." Since he couldn't reach her now, he settled for tangling his fingers in her hair instead.

"You are my favourite kisser." Barbara stroked him just once at the firmness he wanted, then stopped to remove his pants and fetch a condom from his wallet (since she wasn't certain where he put the box).

Barbara was still excited enough from Ian's previous kisses that she wa able to save her mouth for kissing his lips, leaving other parts of her to warm him up as needed. Once they we both ready, she took up one of his hands in hers and pressed it to her lips, then used her free hand to guide him inside her.

He moaned at the feeling of being inside her. For a little while he was happy just to lie still and run his hands over whatever parts of her skin he could reach. "I never want to kiss anyone else. It wouldn't be as good."

Barbara listened to him as she set a steady rhythm, and giggled at the thought of him kissing other women. It was an absurd idea, particularly at that very moment while they were keeping one another warm.

"You'd miss me too much if you kissed another," she told him and pushed him in a little deeper. "And no one will ever love you like I do."

"Oh, wouldn't they?" He jerked his hips up, disturbing her rhythm. "I think I'm a very lovable person.

"You are," she replied and paused while he thrust at her (as much to hold in a moan of pleasure, as to keep things steady. The end result was always better that way), then she went back to her original rhythm. "But I wasn't talking about your love."

"There isn't anyone quite like you." He took the hint and kept his movements smaller and in time with hers so he just went a little deeper each time. "But I bet I could find someone else to love me." He just got the sentence out before ending it on a moan.

"I've no doubt," Barbara said, slowing down now that he was close, making sure that each thrust was better than the last, "but it wouldn't be the same, would it?"
