Nine Months is Too Soon [Closed]
Feb. 22nd, 2013 03:52 pmBarbara hated waddling, but she couldn't help it. Being very nearly full term, and the size of a small planet, didn't exactly help. Sometimes she expected small objects to be sucked into a field of gravity she'd created herself. Yet, she was pregnant and the joy of that in itself made up for the fact that she had replaced walking with waddling.
While she was waddling home from the bus stop, Barbara noticed Howard's bike resting against a telegraph pole outside. That, too, raised her spirits. She loved seeing Howard, more so now that he'd found a place of his own to live in. On the downside, however, he could be just as fussy as Ian when it came to her resting.
"Howard!" Barabra called out once she'd unlocked the door and swung it open, "you're not doing Ian's chores again, are you?"
